Dear Families, Caregivers and Individuals,
On September 13th, 2022, the federal government declared September 19th as a day of mourning in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, to coincide with her funeral.
The Province of BC announced that they too would be recognizing this day as a public holiday. In recognition of the Prime Minister’s announcement, and based on direction from the Province, Aspire Richmond will be observing this day as a National Day of Mourning.
The following programs and offices will
be closed, and will re-open on September 20th, 2022:
• All child care programs
• Early Intervention Services
• Adult Day programs
• Employment Services
• Outreach
• Independent Living
• Children and Adult Respite
• Home Share
• Aspire main office
Staffed residential homes will remain fully staffed.
