Our Services

From infancy through adulthood, Aspire Richmond provides services that allow the individuals in our programs—and their family members—to dream, plan, learn and grow. This includes early intervention for infants at risk; access to supported child care and preschool for children with additional support needs; out of school care and transition planning for teens with disabilities; life-skills training, employment services, and residential options for adults with a disability who wish to live outside their family home.

Early Intervention

Family-centre supports for infants who have, or are at risk for, a developmental delay and access to child care for children with developmental delays and disabilities.

Child Care

Infant/toddler and 3-5 daycare, preschool and out-of-school care including a program dedicated to supporting youth with a developmental disability.

Community Inclusion

LIFE Day Services – day programs for adults with a developmental disability.

Employment Services – customized employment supports for youth and adults with a developmental disability.

Outreach Services – support for individuals who are seeking to enrich their lives through enhanced community connections.

Housing Options

Staffed Residential Homes – 24/7 supported living care for adults with developmental disabilities.

Independent Living – support for individuals to live on their own, with the needed supports to ensure long-term success.

Home Share – individuals with developmental disabilities living with a contracted care provider.

Family Supports

Family Resource Program – resources, supports and referrals for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Family Respite – qualified temporary caregivers to provide respite for families with children or adults with developmental disabilities.
