Aspire Richmond was founded by a group of parents who wanted more for their children than institutional living. Today, Aspire provides support and services for more than 1000 individuals, assisting them to participate and contribute fully and to be recognized and accepted as valued members in the community. We invite the many families who benefit from services as well as caregivers, volunteers, and friends to become actively involved in the growth and direction of Aspire by becoming a member of Aspire Richmond.
As the demand for service increases with little or no increased funding from the government, Aspire needs your help to ensure that our full range of services continues to be available. A strong membership allows Aspire to actively advocate to ensure that quality support for people with developmental disabilities and their families is available. Members are also invited to join Board committees such as Inclusive Education, Nominations or Finance.
